Steps to a design build process

Step 1: First consult
Most important step of the process is meeting with you to hear your vision, likes, and expectations. We help figuring out the little details, share with you whats possible and what to expect in cost.

Step 2: Feasibility study
Whether its an addition to an existing house, and ADU/DADU or even a bathroom addition. Washington state has regulations that must be followed . F.A.R, Setbacks, Heated space and in some cases tree credits. Our teams first goal is to ensure all is posible prior to any agreement being made.

Step 3: Sign intent agreement
Once the feasibility has been done and confirmed. Our team meets with you for a second consultation. We discuss everything thats being included in the agreement, finish style, timelines, and process.

Step 4: Schematic designs
On this stage our architectural designers get to work. We start by creating floors plans highlighting all the new work being done. Followed by elevations and 3D views of the internal walls and exteriors.

Step 5: Building plans submission
After the schematic process has been completed and approved by you. Our team finalizes the architectural and structural plans. Confirms with you one last time, if no changes are made. We submit to the building department for approval.

Step 6: Interior Design
At this step our Interior designer starts helping you craft your home. Creating realistic renderings of your kitchen, bathrooms, master bedroom or pantry. Ensuring you are satisfy with the possibilities prior to execution. Once Everything is agreed upon, we provide a final contract price

Step 7: Material selection
As we wait for the permit to be approved and after our designer finishes the interior renderings. We move on to the last step of the design phase. Material selection. On this stage you choose patterns, colors, textures, material and preferences. Once completed, our team of coordinators order everything ahead of the start of the project.

Step 8: Construction
The moment has come. The start of your vision turning into reality. Our team will always keep you updated with what process is being done and what to expect in that stage of the construction. Timelines will be provided bi-weekly and any changes get instantly made aware to you.
